This grade of steel provided by Kamal Piping is particularly suitable for applications involving high temperatures due to its carbon content. At 1040°C in intermittent service, it displays optimal oxidation resistance and maintains excellent resistance at 1150°C in continuous service. Notably, it is well-suited for use in atmospheres containing sulfur dioxide gas but is not recommended for continuous use between 425-860°C due to carbide precipitation.
