Annealing heat treatment of these Stainless Steel 321H Pipes at 1750 °F – 2050 °F (954 °C – 1121 °C), followed by water quenching or air cooling, ensures optimal performance. Stress-relief annealing within the sensitization temperature range of 450 °C – 800 °C is possible without carbide precipitation, avoiding the risk of intergranular corrosion.
